Finally my new studio is finished! Its my favourite space and I get to share it with my wonderful clients. Thank you all for your love and interest. Here are some images of the new studio – it’s cozy and perfect for newborn’s, maternity, family and portrait photoshoots!
I mostly use natural light from the sliding doors which provides lots of beautiful soft light which makes the images soft and there is no harsh flash and light.
Soft, cuddly blankets serve as backdrops for newborns and infants. They’re all incredibly soft and their colours and textures photograph really well. I like to keep the colours muted and textures simple in order to really highlight the baby.
I’ve also acquired a ton of wraps and headbands. Since I customise the shoot to match the style of my client’s home or nursery I have a lot of options. Neutral tones really show off the baby and create a subtle, natural look.
And last, but certainly not least, my favourite part of the studio – the prop stash! I think other newborn photographers will relate to me here. There’s just something so fun about it all!
